The World Effect Die
A Beginner's Guide
The World Effect Die is the beating heart of your campaign. Rolled alongside the communal OUR dice every single turn, it acts as the "weather" for the game, injecting sudden bursts of luck, global hazards, or massive scoring opportunities that affect every player at the table simultaneously.
Rolling a 1 or 2 provides a strategic advantage to the active player.
Rolling a 3 or 4 introduces a global hazard or restriction that will force you to adapt your strategy on the fly.
A roll of 5 usually offers a defensive safety net, such as healing a Critical Hit.
A roll of 6 triggers the Relic Bonus, an incredibly lucrative, high-stakes bounty.
The "Rule of 6" (Relic Bonus)
The Relic Bonus is triggered only for the specific turn the 6 is rolled. It acts like a sudden, temporary spotlight on the battlefield.
If the active player rolls a 6, the game pauses, and you check the board states of everyone at the table. If a non-active player currently meets the condition, that player instantly claims the +30 points! If multiple players meet the condition at the exact moment the 6 is rolled, they all share in the glory and receive the +30 points.
To master FUSION, you must build your board so that you are "holding" these conditions, lying in wait for the 6 to drop.

Faction Ally Bonus
Choose your allegiance! At the beginning of a game, each player may select a faction as an ALLY by switching the factionβs ALLY switch to ON. As an initial reward, each player get 1 free faction dice roll for the faction they have selected as an ally. Additionally, if a player successfully explores that ally, then the player receives 1 additional Explore Point.
Faction Exploration
At the beginning of each game, every player may increment the number of successful explorations completed per faction.
Successful Exploration: When a player has crossed out the highest number matrix box for a faction and triggered the lock, that player has successfully explored that faction. At the end of the game, the player can take a screen shot of the faction card (or record it elsewhere) to keep track of all the factions they have explored.
